About the project
The world needs ecologically informed citizens who can build sustainable systems.
Knowledge of the basic principles of ESD will be linked to survival on our planet: knowledge of biodiversity, life cycles, renewable energies, selective sorting, recycling ... in its immediate environment and in that partners.
This project, which focuses on the exchange of good practices and innovation, should allow cooperation between partners, share ideas, and exchange teaching practices or methods. The partners are Bulgaria, Crete, Guadeloupe (France), Italy and Turkey. The French school is coordinating the project.
Project activities will be carried out with the 24-month work plan and the methodology of strong communication and cooperation between partners and stakeholders.
The various themes related to sustainable development will be discussed before, during and after the mobility.
AIMS
- Develop strong links and friendships with those of partner schools,
- Develop the social skills of teamwork
- Develop a habit of acting with the identity of ecological culture throughout life for family members and other communities.
- Encourage students to attend local, national and international ecological and social programs, environmental activities.
- Bring the students who are the decision-makers of tomorrow to eradicate, thanks to their knowledge, skills and attitudes, the problems of local and global sources.
- Develop students' skills in critical thinking, problem solving and communication in foreign languages and ICT tools.
- Practice the investigation process
- Reduce the ecological footprint.
- Develop creativity to recover waste,
- Integrate ecological cultivation practices into the program and use them in our schools in a sustainable manner
WORK PROCESS
Coordinator: France: setting up the website and managing the project. Update of the agreement of tasks and responsibilities and of the work plan over 2 years after agreement of the parties. Monitoring of monthly meetings.
Greece: preparation of an interactive guide on food and climate change for teachers, students and apologists.
Bulgaria: preparation of an electronic book on ecological literacy lesson plans and innovative activities for primary schools.
Italy: preparation of Ecological Living Practices common courses.
Turkey: setting up of an electronic twinning project.
